Code & Cadence: Remixing Poetry

What if a poem was a world to explore, and words were your tools to rebuild it?

In this project, we entered the source code of poetry itself. We took lines from the greats—Shakespeare, Shelley, Cavafy—and treated them like open-source material. Like sampling in music or modding in gaming, we cut, rearranged, and assembled something entirely new.

These “found poems” are more than collages. They are conversations across centuries, proving that every creator stands on the shoulders of those who came before. We did not just read poetry; we touched it, took it apart, and gave it a new life. The result is a unique anthology where the voices of the past meet the vision of the present.

Kod i Stih: Remiks Poezije

Šta ako je pesma svet koji istražujemo, a reči su alati kojima ga preoblikujemo?

U ovom projektu smo ušli u sam izvorni kod poezije. Uzeli smo stihove velikanâ—Šekspira, Šelija, Kavafija—i postupili s njima kao sa otvorenim kodom. Kao što se u muzici uzorkuju melodije ili se u gejmingu modifikuju igre, mi smo sekli, preslagali i sklapali, i stvorili nešto sasvim novo.

Ove “pronađene pesme” više su od kolaža. One su razgovor kroz vekove, dokaz da svaki stvaralac stoji na ramenima svojih prethodnika. Mi poeziju nismo samo čitali; mi smo je dotakli, rastavili i podarili joj novi život. Rezultat je jedinstvena zbirka u kojoj se glasovi prošlosti susreću sa vizijom sadašnjosti.
